40 West provided towing and repair when my truck broke down, and this was my first time using this shop. The staff were friendly, well organized and provided great communication. Estimate was provided quickly and repairs performed promptly. They offered a 10% discount since I'm a AAA member and the job came in under estimate. My truck is now running smoothly. I will return to them for future auto work.

I've found them to be very accessible and accommodating. Their service is timely and they keep you informed as they're doing the work. They're conservative in having you spend your money and, most importantly, they stand behind their work. Good people!

Left me stranded in freezing temperatures after breaking their truck and telling me they would be back with another one. Called the dispatch and was told that they weren't coming back and the dispatcher then proceeded to hang up on me. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!

Broke down on I-270 and 40 West came quickly to tow our car to their garage. They gave us a fair estimate for the work that needed to be done, and when we determined that the repair cost exceeded the value of the car, they helped us find a trade school nearby to take it off our hands. Friendly and helpful staff, highly recommend calling them if you need vehicle help in the Frederick area.

MY HUSBAND WAS LEFT IN THE SNOW IN A DRAINAGE DITCH BY A DRIVER WHO SWORE HE WAS COMING BACK IN AN HOUR WITH NEW EQUIPMENT OR A NEW TRUCK. HE NEVER SHOWED. (IT'S 20 DEGREES OUTSIDE) WHEN MY HUSBAND CALLED, THE DRIVER SAYS HE NEVER SAID THAT HE WOULD RETURN. THIS MAKES NO SENSE, BECAUSE MY HUSBAND WOULD NEVER HAVE STAYED BEHIND. HE IS VIRTUALLY TRAPPED. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH TERRIBLE THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND HAVE ALREADY POSTED THIS STORY ON FACEBOOK. WE HAVE A LOT OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY HERE IN FREDERICK AND I HOPE YOU NOTICE THE LOSS OF BUSINESS.
