I brought my car in to have the mechanic diagnose a problem with my car not starting. It was determined that I needed a new battery. Although I was unable to get the replacement made, I was never pressured to get the work done and was treated professionally.

My first experience here has been a good one and I plan to contact them again as the need arises. They were friendly, prompt and hopefully have solved an ongoing problem.

I stopped bringing my car to other mechanics a few years ago when I had a re-curing problem that they were unable to fix. When I brought my car to 40 West, they were able to immediately diagnose the problem and had my car running properly within 2 days! I now rely upon 40 West Auto to service my Honda CRV, as they are straightforward, reliable, knowledgeable and do excellent work, in a timely manner.

I am from out of state so finding a repair shop is a crapshoot. But I looked out when I found 40 W. I thought I had two serious problems with my RV, and they properly diagnosed them and immediately fixed them. Nice people, too.

Nobody likes to have car repairs done but they are necessary. I recommend 40 West as Mike has always been there when I needed assistance. Upfront about what repairs needed to be done and what repairs could wait.
