Great company. Honest and easy to deal with

Been using 40 west for a long time. My parents started using it, and when my brothers and I got to the age where we could have our own cars, we started using 40 west! I got my husband to start using 40 west too. Earle, the owner, is so sweet and caring. He remembers my parents whenever I go in. My husband has an acura rsx, which as soon as it comes in for service the staff knows who we are. Excellent speedy service too, also love that they have a night drop box. The staff are honest and caring, and will always make sure that you know what else is wrong with your car before they go do something to it. You definitely won't waste your money on the services they provide, and they have gotten me out of a few scrapes with the towing!

I didn't get the young man's name but was he ever so pleasant and nice. I know he was busy but he handled my oil change, and answering the office phone, etc. I enjoy dealing there when we have car issues as your business is honest. Have a good day..

I received excellent customer care during my visit. I went in to have my brakes checked because of a squeaking issue, and they were completely honest in letting me know the brakes were still in good condition. I really appreciated their transparency. They also identified an issue with the axle and were able to take care of it quickly, with very little downtime. Overall, the service was efficient, honest, and greatly appreciated.

I have been using 40 west since 2014 . Rob is so kind and helpful and honest Earl the owner is Trustworth and respectful of your needs.Would highly recommend them . Gets the job done quickly and reasonable. The whole team is Great.

It’s uncommon for me to write reviews like these, but these folks deserve every star possible. I was in and out the same day, and that included the tow to the shop. I usually read the bad reviews before picking a place, but I noticed a pattern with the negative feedback here. Most of those reviewers seem to think: A) Auto repairs should be cheap. They aren't. Cars are complex machines, and many negative reviewers fail to understand that. B) Mechanics are magicians. Some people expect a diagnosis for a complex issue with just a quick look. Again, cars are complicated and proper work takes time. Or C) They have a massive fleet of tow trucks. Some people expect a pickup whenever and wherever; they simply don't have an infinite fleet. A lot of other low ratings just leave 1 star without saying anything at all. Don't let those deter you—this place is solid. Their pricing is completely fair, especially if you have AAA. If you don't have it, the membership is only $50 and literally pays for itself threefold between the covered towing and the discount on your bill. At the end of the day, these folks are now my go-to mechanics.

I got an oil change and the service was very quick. They were accommodating and understanding even though I was running late. No real waiting room, just a few chairs at the front desk, but I was comfortable chilling there the whole time. Everyone there was very kind. We generally handle our own car repairs at home but this bitter cold had me wanting to outsource. I've trusted them in the past when I worked for AAA so I chose them this time around and definitely will again. Thanks guys!
