Picked me up when my car was acting up, gave me a ride to and from the shop, and I was on the road that same day. Very happy with the service provided.

We have used 40 West for all of our car repair needs since we moved to Frederick in 1992. They have always been honest, fair priced and only ever done work that has been necessary...never an upsale. I would recommend them for all your car cares needs! And if you need a tow, they are the ones to call, fast service and the technicians that come out put you right at ease!!

Suzanne said she's been going to this facility for about 25 years. She hit a pothole and wanted to make sure the tailpipe was not damaged and they also replaced a burned out taillight.

I have found everyone with whom I’ve dealt with there to be polite, pleasant, and efficient. I’ve been dealing there for years and I’ve never had a negative experience. No one has ever tried to sell me something I don’t need and my questions have always been answered promptly and professionally. They’ve taken exceptionally good care of my service and auto repair needs.

Still the best! I don't know if there are enough ways to say 40 WEST is fantastic! I trust them implicitly and they treat me like family. I'm sure they treat everybody like family. The llatest crisis with my 2006 Toyota Sienna van AWD was the need for a TOTAL brake job. (I also had a flashing airbag icon! more on that later.) Johnny, the grand Pooh Bah mechanic, general manager who has been working there since high school, took a look. Brakes were squeaking like crazy, everything was covered with rust, & the brake pedal was squooshy!(?) After the rust was scraped off, they installed new rotors and brakes on all four wheels! It was worth the price! It feels like a new & safe car and I got an extra bonus! The airbag icon is no longer flashing. It appears the rust was also tripping the icon. Rust is one of the common airbag problems. So I Lucky me! In addition to the great work they do at 40 WEST, they don't try to trick you into getting work done that isn't needed. They're honest and also fun!

I have had many vehicles repaired here in 10 plus years I've been coming and I've never been disappointed with the service. Everyone that works here is friendly and the mechanics very knowledgeable.

Is there a way to schedule an oil change so that I'm not without a car all day. ?

Had a corroded brake line that needed fixed within one day as we needed the vehicle for a move. I had called other shops due to the time involved and found one that could fix it. However since the car needed towed (we have AAA) and they were dispatched for the tow I asked if they were able to get it done. After John explained that since one was corroded all of them should be replaced (which I had planned on anyway). None of the other shops mentioned this. He also told me what to expect cost wise. The tow guy was great and they had it fixed the following day. Thanks to them the move was made as planned! Should also note parts were reasonable. Good shop to deal with and they are AAA too.
