Was stranded at South Mt. Welcome Center, 70 West on the way to Valley Mall, Hagerstown for 5 hrs cause AAA dispatched, Tops U. S. Towing on 8-15-22. We were promised a 60-75 min wait with the tow driver cking in 10 minutes in arriving! Our request with AAA started at 10:34 am. The tow driver finally called at 3pm! His cell said he was from VA! I cked once an hr in the 5 hrs only to hear a recording that it would be 45-60 minutes before our tow would arrive! And to add more challenges to our day, The Welcome Center was closed, restrooms open with working drink machines, no food machines working. We 70+ grandparents were there with our grown grandson who tried to keep us calm thank God! 5 hrs without food, had to call our daughter to wait with us cause our car had not been towed, & no help from AAA! We have been members for over 50 years! So I couldn't take anymore by 3:30pm. So I called 40 West Towing from the listing in my cell. Debbie answered & assured me that she would handle our problem, & she did in mins, 30 mins to be exact! Debbie called me to say her company would handle the tow canceling AAA, & would call back when my car was in tow! That's exactly what happen! Debbie was a God Send! You were our guardian angel! Thank you so much! Moral to this story...when your gut is telling you something isn't right, listen sooner! P.S. I have a claim with AAA for Tops U,S. Towing. I pray AAA will cancel anymore calls!
